Mumbai, Jan. 7 -- Base metals eased somewhat today, giving up some of the sharp gains seen this week. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1330.30 per kg, down 0.60% on the day. The counter hit a high above Rs 1340 per kg before topping out. MCX Aluminum futures corrected 0.57% to trade at Rs 313 per kg. MCX Zinc futures dropped 0.62% to trade at Rs 313.70 per kg. MCX Lead futures stayed in green though and currently trade at Rs 195.20 per kg, up 0.85% on the day. Nickel soared though, up 5% to trade at Rs 1870 per kg.
