Mumbai, Dec. 29 -- Base metals eased today, giving up after a recent surge. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1272.45 per kg, down 0.43% on the day. The counter soared 1.66% in last session as an impressive bounce extended and there was a sharp slide in volume and open interest. MCX Aluminum futures are down 2.30% to trade at Rs 294.05 per kg. MCX Zinc futures lost 2.30% to trade at Rs 305.75 per kg. MCX Lead futures rose though, adding 0.74% to trade at Rs 184.35 per kg.
