Mumbai, April 11 -- The EIA, in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, forecasts Brent crude oil prices to average $68 per barrel in 2025 and $61 in 2026 - down by $6 and $7 from last month's estimates. The revision reflects slower oil demand growth and rising supply as OPEC+ production cuts ease and non-OPEC output increases. The EIA also cited increased uncertainty around demand and potential additional supply from OPEC+ in the coming months. Sanctions on Russia, Iran, and Venezuela continue to add further price volatility.
