Mumbai, Dec. 26 -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd rose 2.81% today to trade at Rs 642.4. The BSE Metal index is up 0.35% to quote at 35616.36. The index is up 4.56 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd increased 1.35% and Vedanta Ltd added 1.15% on the day. The BSE Metal index went up 20.52 % over last one year compared to the 8.61% surge in benchmark SENSEX. Hindustan Zinc Ltd has added 36.61% over last one month compared to 4.56% gain in BSE Metal index and 0.45% drop in the SENSEX.
