Mumbai, Nov. 24 -- Government securities drew solid investor interest in the latest auction held on 21 November 2025, with the Centre raising Rs 30,000 crore through the 6.01% GS 2030 and 7.09% GS 2074 papers.
The 2030 bond had a notified amount of Rs 18,000 crore, while Rs 12,000 crore was on offer for the 2074 maturity. Demand was robust across both segments. The 2030 paper received 234 competitive bids worth Rs 48,796.54 crore. The 2074 bond attracted 213 bids totalling Rs 45,142.40 crore.
Pricing held steady despite the heavy turnout. The 2030 bond cleared at a cut-off price of 99.16, yielding 6.2180%. The 2074 paper cleared at 96.07, setting the cut-off yield at 7.3889%.
