Mumbai, June 30 -- The government of India is set to borrow Rs 2.69 lakh crore from the market via treasury bills (T-bills) in second quarter of FY26, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said in a latest press release. On Friday, the central bank released the calendar for the auction of T-bills. The central government is set to borrow Rs 1.268 lakh crore via 91-day T-bills, Rs 78000 crore via 182-day T-bills and Rs 65000 crore via 364-day T-bills between July 01, 2025 to September 30, 2025, the central bank noted.
