Mumbai, April 1 -- WTI crude oil jumped to a five week high above $71 per barrel on Tuesday morning amid supply worries amid U.S. President Donald Trump's threats to impose more tariffs on Russia and to possibly attack Iran. Trump reportedly said on Sunday that he would impose 25%-50% secondary tariffs on buyers of Russian oil if he feels Moscow is hindering Trump's efforts to end the war in Ukraine. Currently, the counter is trading at $71.69 per barrel, up 0.22% on the day and following an over 3% gain in the previous session. Meanwhile, on the MCX, Crude oil futures climbed above Rs 6000 per barrel.
