Mumbai, Nov. 27 -- WTI crude oil futures continue to drift lower on Thursday morning in Asia on reports of a potential Ukraine-Russia ceasefire. Media reports suggest that a US presidential envoy is heading to Russia next week for talks, and a breakthrough could lift sanctions on Russian crude. The counter is currently quoting at $58.40 per barrel, down 0.43% on the day following an over 1% gain in the previous session. Besides, thin trading volumes ahead of US Thanksgiving holiday is also capping gains for the commodity.
