Mumbai, Jan. 13 -- WTI crude oil futures are edging closer to $60 per barrel mark on Tuesday morning in Asia, on rising geo political tensions. US President Donald Trump reportedly said that any country that does business with Iran will face a tariff rate of 25% on any business conducted with the United States. This action came after Trump threatened repercussions if Iranian authorities target civilians, while Tehran warned the US and Israel against any intervention. The counter is currently hovering at a one-month high at $59.70 per barrel, up 0.34% on the day.
