Mumbai, Jan. 14 -- The American Petroleum Institute (API) estimated that crude oil inventories in the United States saw a build of 5.27 million barrels in the week ending January 9. Crude oil inventories sagged by 2.8 million barrels in the week prior. Along with a build in crude oil, gasoline inventories saw another large increase this week as well, gaining 8.23 million barrels in the week ending January 9. In the week prior, gasoline inventories grew by 4.4 million barrels.
