Mumbai, April 25 -- UK retail sales rose 0.4 percent in March 2025 after a revised 0.7 percent increase in February. Non-food store sales jumped 1.7 percent, marking the strongest performance since March 2022. Clothing stores led with a 3.7 percent rise, helped by favorable weather, while second-hand and garden supply retailers also saw gains. Food store sales fell by 1.3 percent. Excluding fuel, retail sales were up 0.5 percent from the previous month.
