Mumbai, March 28 -- UK real gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to have increased by 0.1% in Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) 2024, unrevised from the first estimate, data from the Office for National Statistics showed.
The services sector increased by 0.1% in output terms for Quarter 4 2024; construction also grew, by 0.3%, while production fell by 0.4%.
Real annual GDP in 2024 is now estimated to have increased by 1.1%, revised up from the first estimate increase of 0.9%, this follows an unrevised increase of 0.4% in 2023, ONS said.
Real GDP per head is estimated to have fallen by an unrevised 0.1% in Quarter 4 2024 and showed no growth across all of 2024 (revised up from the first estimate fall of 0.1%).
