Mumbai, Dec. 8 -- Japan's service sector index eased to 48.7 in November, pulling back from October's recent high of 49.1 and marking the first dip in seven months. The decline reflected softer household sentiment, weaker corporate activity, and mild pressure on employment conditions. At the same time, the economic outlook index slipped to 50.3 from 53.1, as rising cost pressures trimmed confidence. The overall tone remains mildly cautious, with growth signals still present but losing some momentum heading into year-end.
