Mumbai, June 12 -- Japan's Business Survey Index (BSI) for large manufacturers slumped to -4.8% in Q2 2025, down sharply from -2.4% in Q1, missing forecasts for a rebound. The index marks its lowest reading since early 2024, highlighting export pressures after the US introduced steep tariffs on Japanese goods and autos.
