Mumbai, March 7 -- Japan's foreign reserves climbed by $12.65 billion to $1.25 trillion in February 2025, marking a five-month high. The reserves included $1.09 trillion in foreign currencies, $77.09 billion in gold, $57.65 billion in SDRs, $10.12 billion from the IMF reserve position, and $15.39 billion in other assets. Meanwhile, Japan's finance ministry confirmed no foreign exchange interventions took place from October to December 2024.
