Mumbai, Nov. 28 -- Retail trade in Japan increased by 1.6% in October compared to the previous month, according to a preliminary report by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry published on Friday.
The figure increased by 1.7% on an annual basis. Commercial sales increased by 2.4% month-on-month, while the seasonally adjusted value of sales in the wholesale industry rose by 2.7% compared to the previous month. The figure increased by 2.5% year-on-year.
