Mumbai, Oct. 14 -- India's wholesale inflation slowed to 0.13% year-on-year in September 2025, easing from 0.52% in August. The deceleration was led by a sharp fall in food prices, which dropped 1.99% amid steep declines in onions, potatoes, and vegetables. Manufacturing inflation also moderated to 2.33% from 2.55%, while fuel prices fell 2.58% on-year, extending the previous month's drop. On a monthly basis, wholesale prices slipped 0.19%, reversing August's 0.53% rise, signaling easing cost pressures across key sectors.
