Mumbai, April 1 -- Germany's HCOB Manufacturing PMI increased to 48.3 in March 2025, the highest since August 2022, reflecting a rise in production after nearly two years. This was driven by stronger new orders, especially in intermediate goods. Business confidence reached a three-year high due to expectations of higher infrastructure spending. Despite this, employment continued to decline, and export sales remained weak. Input costs and factory prices fell slightly, aided by improved supply chains and lower freight rates.
