Mumbai, March 10 -- Germany's industrial production surged 2 percent in January 2025, recovering from a 1.5 percent drop in December. The automotive sector led the rebound with a 6.4 percent jump, alongside gains in food production and machine maintenance. However, metal product manufacturing fell 7.7 percent, and energy output dipped 0.5 percent. Despite the monthly rebound, industrial output stagnated over the past three months and remained 1.6 percent lower year-over-year.
