Mumbai, May 7 -- France's trade gap narrowed to €6.2 billion in March from €7.7 billion in February, beating expectations. Exports rose 5.6 percent to €52.6 billion, led by strong transport equipment and technical drawings. Imports grew at a slower 2.3 percent to €58.8 billion. Export gains were broad-based, though growth to the US slowed due to tariffs.
