Mumbai, May 22 -- France's manufacturing climate index dropped to 97 in May 2025 from 100 in April, the lowest since February. The fall was led by weaker order books and a negative shift in production prospects. Sentiment declined in food and transport sectors but improved in machinery and equipment.
