Mumbai, July 16 -- The Eurozone's trade surplus stood at €16.2 billion in May, rising from April's €11.1 billion and €12.7 billion registered in the same month in 2024, the European Commission's statistical office Eurostat revealed in its report published on Wednesday.
Exports saw an annual increase of 0.9% to reach €242.6 billion. Meanwhile, imports declined by 0.6% to €226.5 billion.
The European Union's trade surplus came in at €13.1 billion, growing from €8.9 billion seen in May 2024. Exports advanced by 0.1% year-on-year to €216.9 billion, while imports decreased by 2.0% to €203.8 billion.
