Mumbai, Jan. 30 -- The euro area economic growth came to a halt in the fourth quarter as output shrunk in Germany and France and remained flat in Italy. Gross domestic product showed a flat growth in the fourth quarter, following an expansion of 0.4 percent in the third quarter, preliminary flash estimate published by Eurostat showed Thursday. On a yearly basis, economic growth held steady at 0.9 percent.
