Mumbai, March 17 -- China's industrial production grew 5.9% year-on-year in January-February 2025, easing from 6.2% in December. Manufacturing growth slowed to 6.9% from 7.4%, while mining surged to 4.3% from 2.4%. Key manufacturing gains included cars (12%), computers and communication (10.6%), and chemical products (9.5%). Electricity, gas, and water supply remained steady at 1.1%. Monthly output fell 0.51% in February.
