Mumbai, Jan. 8 -- Australia's goods trade surplus narrowed to AUD 2.94 billion in November 2025, the smallest since August, as exports fell and imports rose. Exports dropped 2.9% to AUD 44.57 billion, led by weaker shipments of metal ores and minerals, with declines seen across major partners including China, the US, India, and South Korea. Imports edged up 0.2% to a record AUD 41.64 billion, supported by higher purchases of processed industrial supplies, signalling resilient domestic demand heading into the year-end holiday period.
