Mumbai, July 17 -- Australia's consumer inflation expectations fell to 4.7% in July from June's 5.0% peak, signaling reduced price pressure. Q1 inflation stayed at 2.4% for the third quarter, while core CPI eased to 2.9%, just above the RBA's midpoint target. With May CPI rising only 2.1%, the RBA remains cautious, awaiting clearer signs before acting.
