Mumbai, April 1 -- The value of retail sales in Australia was up a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent on month in February, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday - coming in at A$37.129 billion.

Individually, sales of food, clothing, department store items and cafes were up, while household goods and other retailing were down.

On a yearly basis, retail sales were up 3.6 percent.
