Mumbai, Feb. 10 -- Private house approvals in Australia rose 0.4% month-on-month to 9,487 units in December, marking a second consecutive increase but at a slower pace than November. Gains were driven by South Australia and Western Australia, with Queensland and New South Wales also recording modest growth, while Victoria edged lower. On an annual basis, approvals climbed 5.7%, indicating continued resilience in detached housing demand, though momentum appears to be easing.
