Mumbai, April 7 -- Precious metals speculators continued to cut their net long positions in the Silver futures markets further last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 57258 contracts in the data reported through April 1, 2025. This was a weekly drop of 3692 net contracts and pulled down net longs to one month low.
