Mumbai, April 28 -- Precious metals speculators marginally increased their net long positions in the Silver futures markets further last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 44726 contracts in the data reported through April 22, 2025. This was a weekly rise of 777 net contracts and pushed up net longs from three-month low.
