Mumbai, May 5 -- Precious metals speculators continued to cut their net long position slightly in the Gold futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 163318 contracts in the data reported through April 29, 2025, tanking by 12060 contracts from the previous week. The net longs have slumped to around 15-month low now.
