Mumbai, Feb. 19 -- Precious metals speculators sharply cut their net long positions in the Gold futures markets, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 131168 contracts in the data reported through February 13, 2023. This was a slide of 30570 contracts and pulled net speculative longs near four month low.
