Mumbai, Jan. 14 -- World Bank has stated in a latest update that after remaining broadly stable in 2025, agricultural prices are expected to decline modestly in 2026, then ease further in 2027. Food prices are forecast to stay largely stable in 2026-27 as supply growth converges toward long-term trends. Beverage prices-particularly cocoa and coffee-are projected to ease in 2026-27, from their weather-driven record highs in 2025, but remain at historically elevated levels.
