Mumbai, Jan. 23 -- Freeport-McMoRan, the global mining major has come up with its fourth-quarter 2025 operating results. Fourth-quarter 2025 sales of 709 million pounds were 12% higher than October 2025 estimates of 635 million pounds, primarily reflecting a higher-than-expected reduction in inventories in Indonesia. As expected, fourth-quarter 2025 sales were below fourth-quarter 2024 as a result of lower production in Indonesia. It fourth-quarter 2025 Copper production of 640 million pounds was significantly below fourth-quarter 2024 production of 1.0 billion pounds, primarily reflecting the impact of the September 2025 mud rush incident on PTFI's operations.
