Mumbai, Oct. 24 -- Global mining major Freeport McMoran has announced its third-quarter 2025 operating results stating that consolidated production was impacted by the temporary suspension of operations in Indonesia since the September 8, 2025, mud rush incident. The company's third-quarter 2025 Copper production of 912 million pounds was lower than third-quarter 2024 production of 1.1 billion pounds, recording a slide of 17% primarily reflecting an estimated reduction of approximately 90 million pounds in third-quarter 2025 associated with the temporary suspension of operations since the September 2025 mud rush incident at PTFI and lower ore grades in Indonesia.
