Mumbai, March 11 -- According to a latest update from the USGS, in November 2024, U.S. mines produced 84,100 metric tons (t) of recoverable copper. Average daily mine production was 2,800 t, unchanged from that in October and 12% less than that in November 2023. Year-to-date mine output of recoverable copper through November 2024 was 948,000 t, a decrease of 8% compared with that in the same time period in 2023. Domestic refineries produced 77,800 t of copper in November 2024. Average daily production of refined copper was 2,590 t, unchanged from that in October and 12% greater than that in November 2023.
