Mumbai, Nov. 21 -- COMEX Copper futures are lingering around a two-week low on Friday morning in Asia tracking sharp losses in overnight equities. The major averages on the Wall Street pulled back well off their early highs and tumbled firmly into negative territory. The Nasdaq plummeted 486.18 points or 2.2 percent to 22,078.05, the S&P 500 plunged 103.40 points or 1.6 percent to 6,538.76 and the Dow slumped 386.51 points or 0.8 percent to 45,752.26. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 dropped to their lowest closing levels in over two months and the Dow fell to a new one-month low. The red metal is currently seen quoting under the crucial $5 mark at $4.95 per pound, down 0.29% on the day.
