Mumbai, Jan. 1 -- Copper has slipped in Asia amid weak cues from equities as the major US averages closed lower for the fourth straight session. The red metal is down 1.5% at $5.69 per pound. Some selling pressure is evident after strong gains over last few weeks.Copper rose around 40% last year and marked the best annual performance in one and half decades.
