Mumbai, Nov. 25 -- Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare data showed yesterday that Rabi crop sowing has exceeded 306 lakh hectares (lh) as on 21st November 2025, recording a rise of 12.30% on year. The acreage under major crop wheat stood at 128.37 lh, up nearly 20% on year. Area under pulses stood at 73.36 lh, up 7.64% on year. A total of 19.69 lh area coverage was recorded under Shri Anna & Coarse Cereals, up 14% on year. Rabi oilseeds acreage also rose 5..43% to 76.64 lh.
