Nairobi, Jan. 15 -- Former Laikipia MP, Anthony Mutahi Kimaru has been charged with stealing the title deed of a multimillion-shilling property from the executors of the estate of a British settler within Nanyuki township.
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Noordin Haji preferred five counts of land fraud against Mr Kimaru who appeared before the Milimani Law courts chief magistrate Martha Mutuku.
Through state prosecutor Anderson Gikunda, the DPP told Ms Mutuku that the former MP stole the title deed for piece of land valued Sh18.5million, being the property of George Odinga Oraro & David Morton Silverstein, the executors of the will for the estate of the late Livia Lepoer Trench.
