Srinagar, April 21 -- The weather improved slightly in Kashmir on Saturday after two days of incessant rains and snowfall. There was cloud cover in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley. There was improvement in the weather condition after incessant rains.

The meteorological department has predicted mainly dry weather with possibility of thunders. Light rain was expected at isolated to scattered places towards afternoon in the next 24 hours. For the subsequent two days, MeT has predicted isolated to scattered rains and thunderstorms till Monday. In the last 24 hours, the MeT data revealed that summer capital Srinagar recorded about 17.8 mm of rainfall, 30 mm in Qazigund, the gateway into Kashmir in the south, 13.4 mm in Kupwara, 7.2 mm ...
