Srinagar, May 15 -- Continuing its firm resolve against the menace of drugs, police achieved significant success by arresting seven drug peddlers in separate actions in Anantnag, Baramulla & Kulgam and recovered heroin-like/contraband substances from their possession.In Anantnag, two drug peddlers identified as Mohammad Irfan son of Mohammad Jehangir Khan resident of Ghaziabad, UP and a lady drug peddler resident of Bawana JJ Colony, Delhi-39 were arrested in possession of 06 grams and 03 grams of heroin-like substances respectively. Similarly, a notorious lady drug peddler resident of Bangidar, was also apprehended near Bangidar Bridge with 07 grams of heroin-like substance.
