Srinagar, Nov. 19 -- The Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, has launched a mega event-the Inter District UT Level Badminton Championship 2025-26 for boys and girls of all age groups.The competitions are being held at the Indoor Sports Complex, Wazirbagh, Srinagar, and will continue until 5th December 2025.The opening day featured matches of the U/14 boys category, with participants representing all districts of the Union Territory.The event was inaugurated by Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Kashmir, Mohammad Rashid Kohli, in the presence of DYSSO Srinagar Ghulam Hassan Lone and other officials.The championship commenced with a pledge under the nationwide campaign "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan."
