Srinagar, June 4 -- A spell of unseasonal rainfall and fresh snowfall has gripped Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, bringing a sudden drop in temperatures and prompting the Meteorological (MeT) Department to issue a cautionary weather advisory for the coming days.Over the past few days, the Kashmir Valley has witnessed consistent rainfall, while higher-altitude regions have reported fresh snowfall. These weather changes have led to a sharp decline in both daytime and nighttime temperatures across the region.On Sunday, Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 19.5degC, a significant 7.5degC below the seasonal average.
