Srinagar, May 23 -- In a landmark medical achievement, the Department of Urology and the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care at the Super Speciality Hospital, Government Medical College Srinagar, have successfully treated two 7 & 8-month-old infants with renal calculi using Extra Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL). This groundbreaking procedure marks the first time such young patient's have undergone ESWL for a 10mm/12mm renal stone's at our institution.
