Srinagar, April 8 -- Srinagar Police has booked two well-known drug peddlers under the stringent Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.The accused, identified as Adil Hamid, son of Ab Hamid Sheikh of Allochi Bagh, and Zahoor Ahmad Khan, son of Gh Mohammad Khan of Zakura, have been detained following formal orders issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir. The detention was based on detailed dossiers compiled by the police outlining their repeated involvement in drug-related crimes.Both individuals have been shifted to jails outside the Valley - with Adil lodged at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu and Zahoor at District Jail Bhaderwah.According to police, the duo has been actively supplyin...
