Srinagar, Aug. 7 -- Lying has now been normalized, though it is intrinsically a hallmark of sheer hypocrisy. The tongue is a double-edged sword; it can bless or curse. One of the gravest misuses of the tongue is lying. Unfortunately, in today's age, lying has become an art many are proud of. It has infiltrated casual conversations, educational institutions, and even family relations. The casual attitude toward lying, despite its severity, shows a frightening decay of moral integrity. Lying is a sin that paves the way for numerous other sins. It is a gateway to fraud, betrayal, oppression, and injustice.
