Srinagar, Feb 18, Feb. 19 -- Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and Jammu & Kashmir Police launched a two-week Tech-Infused Tourism Policing training programme to modernize tourist safety protocols in Srinagar. The program aims to train police personnel in managing high-footfall areas and crisis situations using advanced technology. Dr. Mahesh A. Tripathi, Director of RRU J&K Campus, and SP Shah Umer inaugurated the session, emphasizing proactive, tech-enabled policing for the tourism sector.The curriculum covers crisis response, GPS-enabled monitoring, inter-agency coordination, and mobile applications for tourist assistance.
