Srinagar, Nov. 8 -- Srinagar recorded the coldest night of the season as the mercury dipped across the Valley during the night.The recent snowfall in the upper reaches of Kashmir has caused a noticeable dip in temperatures across the valley. Several places recorded sub-zero conditions.The hill resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir was the coldest place in Kashmir with the temperature dropping to -3.0 degrees Celsius.Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 0.2 degrees Celsius - the coldest night of the season so far.The temperature was 1.7 degrees Celsius below the normal of 1.9 degrees Celsius.Qazigund, the gateway to the Valley, registered a minimum of -0.3 degrees Celsius, while Kokernag recorded 1.6 degrees Celsius.
