Srinagar, June 26 -- While days in Srinagar have been unbearably hot over the past fortnight due to heat wave conditions, the minimum temperature in Srinagar soared to 25 degrees Celsius - the highest ever recorded in June.According to MeT official, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 25degC, which is 7.9degC above normal for this time of year."Pahalgam tourist resort in south Kashmir registered a low of 18.8degC, which is 7.9degC above normal, setting a new June record for the station.
